| dwcs 2.4 digital wireless conference system |
|
The IRP dwcs2.4 is a new and unique Digital Wireless Conferencing System. Operating in the 2.4GHz range, the data and audio transfer characteristics are fully digital and all audio signals are digitally encoded.
This digital encoding ensures that transmissions are inherently secure; hence, unauthorized monitoring of voice or data is virtually impossible. Security has been a fundamental problem in all previous wireless conferencing systems. Most, if not all, such previous systems were designed to operate in the UHF band and relied on analog audio transmission principles; accordingly, by using a UHF receiver in an adjacent space an unauthorized listener could quickly breach the confidentiality of the system. Another significant advantage of operating in the 2.4GHz band is the fact that this frequency range is license-free (world-wide). The dwcs2.4 has FCC and CE type acceptance. All delivered systems are provided with a unique system address. Consequently, systems with different addresses are unable to communicate with each other. This feature has two distinct advantages - unauthorized monitoring is virtually secure; and a client may use two or more systems within the same premises without causing inter-system interference. The dwcs2.4 consists of essentially three items: 1. Microphone stations [Chair person and delegate units] 2. The base receiver unit and system processor a. Base receiver with audio foldback b. Base receiver without audio foldback 3. Send and receive antenna with associated cable between the antennas and the base receiver. |
